Woman Among 4 Persons Arrested, Huge Cache of Arms, Ammo Recovered in North Kashmir

Srinagar: A joint team of Police, army and CRPF arrested four persons, including a woman, with huge quantities of arms and ammunition in Bandipora district.

Local news agency Kashmir Scroll quoted a senior police officer as saying that upon receipt of credible input, the joint team of security forces apprehended the four persons and recovered from their possession a huge cache of arms and ammunition.

The officer identified the apprehended persons as Adil Tariq Wasil, son of Tariq Ahmad Sasil, Shafkat Nabi son of Gh Nabi and Musaib Khursheed son of Khursheed Ahmad Dar – all residents of Ladoora Rafiabad in Baramulla.

“A case has been registered under the relevant sec of law and an investigation taken up in this regard”, the officer added.
