Srinagar: Security forces have apprehended a woman among two suspected individuals along with arms and ammunition in Gushi area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, army on Monday said.
Taking to micro-blogging site ‘X’, Chinar Corps wrote: “In a Joint Operation launched by #IndianArmy & @JmuKmrPolice on specific intelligence, a Mobile Vehicle Interception Post (MVIP) was established today at Gushi Bridge at Kupwara where Two suspected individuals were apprehended. 04xHand Grenades, 01xPistol with ammunition along with other incriminating material were recovered. Investigation in progress.”
The suspected duo been identified as Nazir Ahmad Dar and Shameema – both residents of Mithan Chanapora Srinagar, were intercepted while travelling in a vehicle bearing number JK01AA 3377.
