Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) – Indian National Congress’ J&K unit – on Friday extended its support to National Conference in pursuit of upcoming government formation in Jammu and Kashmir.

JKPCC President and winning candidate on Central Shalteng segment, Tariq Hameed Karra, while announcing the extension of support said that they have submitted a (support) letter to ally JKNC today.

Karra further stated that the JKPCC had no demands while tendering the letter.

“We have no demands, the discussions on the governance model and Common Minimum Programme, will follow,” Karra said.

Pertinent to mention here that the two allies secured 48 out of 90 seats in the assembly, with NC winning on 42 and Congress on 6.
