‘Winter is Coming’: WD Set To Impact J&K Weather System, Fair Precipitation Expected All Across

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir is set to witness an impact from West Disturbance this afternoon onwards, an independent weather forecasting agency ‘Kashmir Weather’ informed.

“Western Disturbance is set to impact Jammu and Kashmir from this afternoon onwards. Until evening, minor activities of rain/snow are possible, especially over higher reaches”, it informed.

“Towards night or early morning tomorrow, heavy rain/snow showers are possible, starting from north Kashmir. The weather system will impact most parts of the Jammu region as well.”

Region/District wise, the chances of snowfall as per the agency are: Shopian = 50-60%, Pulwama and Kulgam = 30%, Anantnag = 20%, Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora, Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal = 10 – 20%.
