Wifaq-ul-Makatib Idara Al-Itqan Kupwara Holds Seerat Quiz, Over 3,500 Students Participate Across 10 Examination Centers

Kupwara: A large-scale Seerat Quiz competition was successfully held by Wifaq-ul-Makatib Idara Al-Itqan in Kupwara district, aimed at spreading the teachings and message of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) among students.

The event saw the enthusiastic participation of over 3,500 students across ten examination centers set up throughout the district. These centers included prominent educational institutions such as Monarch Public School Handwara, Abu Bakr Public School Kralpora, Rahmat Alam Public School Kupwara, Ali Public School Wavoora, and Doon International School Cherakoot, alongside several religious seminaries, including Jamia Shams-ul-Uloom Kupwara, Darul Uloom Arfiya Sholura, and Darul Uloom Saut-ul-Quran Dildar Karnah, among others.

A significant feature of the event was the introduction of OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheets, designed to help students familiarize themselves with modern examination techniques and prepare for future academic challenges.

The competition was meticulously organized with the support of over 200 individuals, including scholars, intellectuals, educators, and professionals. Notable figures such as Maulana Ghulam Qadir Shah, Maulana Abdul Ahad Qasmi, Mufti Mushtaq Ahmad Rahimi, and Master Peer Nazimuddin were actively involved in supervising and ensuring the smooth conduct of the quiz.

Maulana Shah Muhammad Asghar Kirmani, the General Secretary of the organization, addressed the media and highlighted the event’s broader educational impact. “Our goal is not only to instill knowledge of the Seerah but also to steer our youth away from social evils, including drug addiction,” he said.

The management of Wifaq-ul-Makatib expressed heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed to the event’s success, ensuring that it was not only educational but also impactful for the community.
