Srinagar: The celebrated Kashmiri singing and household name has finally came out of his hibernation, much to the ecstasy of music lovers within and outside his homeland Jammu and Kashmir.
Hafiz, known for his rendition to popular songs like ‘Band Band Boz’, ‘Zarum Ne Doorir’, ‘Gachi Vesyay Lal Chhum Doorey’ , ‘Hai Vaes’ and others had been on a long pause before finally breaking into the chartbusters with his rendition to the popular song ‘Ya Tulli Khanjar Maare’.
Hafiz, who otherwise can be seen going solo in most of his performances’, has made a rare appearance with young singing sensation Asees Kaur for Salim Sulaiman and Co.
The song has already started buzzing in public places, in a matter of just few days, after its release. But what actually has brought relief to the Kashmiri music lovers in general and to the lovers of Rashid Hafiz in particular is the overall well being of the celebrated singer – singing at the top of his vocals.
