‘War-like stores recovered in Kupwara’

Srinagar: A joint team of security forces on Friday recovered a large quantity of war-like stores in Lolab area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

As per Srinagar-based news agency GNS, security forces including Army, Police and BSF on receipt of specific information launched a search operation in Gangbugh Sogam, during which a cache of war-like stores were recovered.

The officers part of the operation said that the Pakistan based handlers were planning to use the now recovered (war-like) stores to carry out adverse activities in the region.

The successful conduct of the operation, the officers said, has dealt a major blow to the nefarious designs of Pakistan based militant groups. (GNS)
