Srinagar: Three students were injured in a group clash in Rajouri district on Monday.

Local news agency Kashmir Scroll quoting sources reported that two student groups engaged in a heated argument, which escalated into a physical confrontation.

The injured students have been identified as Danish (16), son of Abdul Aziz, Badal (17), son of Vijay Kumar, and Shahbaz (15), son of Mohammad Rashid.

All three are studying at JNV College Koternaka.

After the clash, the injured students were promptly taken to a nearby hospital and later transferred to GMC Rajouri for specialized treatment as advised by the doctors.

The local police have registered a case in connection with the incident and have initiated an investigation sources added.

In response to the incident, Kamal Jeet Singh, the vice principal of the school, informed news agency Kashmir Scroll that a team has been formed to conduct an inquiry into the matter, ensuring a thorough investigation of the clash.
