Srinagar: A tractor driver died in a fatal road accident in Chandigam area in Lolab Kupwara on Saturday morning.
Reports reaching Alfaaz – The Words, said that a tractor turned turtle near Darul Uloom Chandigam, leaving the driver dead on spot.
A team of police and local army arrived at the spot, and took the body to SDhospital.
Confirming the incident, a police official identified the deceased as one Khalid Hassan Mir (24), son of Ghulam Hassan Mir, a resident of Putushahi Lolab.
“We have taken cognisance of the incident for further investigations,” added the official.
