Baramulla: ‘Eleven Brothers Kupwara’ emerged champions of the 5th edition of the North Kashmir Premier League (NKPL) 2025, defeating Victoria Baramulla by a narrow margin of three runs in a closely contested final.
After winning the toss, Eleven Brothers Kupwara opted to bat first and posted a total of 152 runs, getting all out in 19.1 overs. In response, Victoria Baramulla put up a spirited chase but could manage 149 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs, falling short of the target by three runs.
The final witnessed intense competition, keeping spectators engaged till the last over. Aamir (Lefty) was adjudged the Man of the Match for his decisive performance, while Junaid Sheikh was named Man of the Series for his consistent contributions throughout the tournament.
As winners, Eleven Brothers Kupwara were awarded a cash prize of ₹1.10 lakh, while runners-up Victoria Baramulla received ₹70,000.
The tournament was organised by the Baramulla Cricket Forum, drawing participation from several teams across North Kashmir and providing a vibrant platform for local cricketing talent.
