Tarathpora (Kupwara): Local businessman Shabir Pir, who has been running a shop in the bustling Tarathpora Ramhal market for the past 25 years, has announced his candidacy for the position of Market President for Tarathpora.
With his election symbol, a tractor, Shabir Pir has urged fellow shopkeepers and market stakeholders to support his vision of development for the market.
In his appeal to the shopkeepers, Shabir Pir outlined his commitment to improving facilities within the market. Pir has emphasized plans to install dustbins for better waste management, establish water points, create accessible washrooms, and set up CCTV surveillance to enhance security.
“I am dedicated to enhancing the Tarathpora Ramhall market to create a cleaner, safer, and more functional environment for both shopkeepers and customers,” Shabir Pir stated.
He called upon the shopkeepers to vote for him, promising to bring about meaningful change and development in the market once elected.
The upcoming election will determine the market’s future, and Shabir Pir hopes to earn the support of his community with his dedication for overall improvement and progress.
