SSP Kupwara Visits Shelling Affected Areas in Keran Sector

Kupwara: Senior Superintendent of Police Kupwara Ghulam Jeelani Wani on Saturday conducted an extensive visit to Keran sector to assess the situation in areas affected by recent shelling from across the border.

During the visit, the SSP, accompanied by Inspector Reyaz Ahmad and other police officers, took stock of the ground situation, interacted with the local population, and assured them of the police department’s commitment to their safety and well-being. He also reviewed the security arrangements and instructed the concerned officers to remain vigilant and responsive to any emerging situation.

The SSP reiterated that the Jammu & Kashmir Police stands firmly with the residents of border areas and will continue to extend all possible support to maintain peace and order.
