IIS Hayatpora Secures First Rank in Qirat, SSM Educational Institute Rednagh in Naat

Lolab: In a bid to develop Islamic education among the students, Sir Syed Memorial Educational Institute Rednagh Lolab on Friday organised Qiraat Cum Naat Competition.
The competition began with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a Naat-i-Sharif. The event saw an overwhelming response from the audiences with everyone in the event hailing the intense efforts of the institute head.
The event was attended by ten government and private institutions and about 80% schools showed their attendance in the grand event. The Zonal Education Officer Sogam graced the event as ‘Chief Guest’ while Moulana Qari Hafiz Bashir Ahmed Shah (Al-Mazhari) and Maulana Jahangir Ahmad Nadvi – dispensing duties as jury in the said competition.

The competition was held in a feasible atmosphere with both Judges’ showcased their interest in dispensing their duties.
As the ceremony culminated, both the judge’s announced the results of Naat cum Qiraat competition. In Naat competition, student from Sir Syed Memorial Educational Institute Rednagh Saqib Jabbar secured first rank followed by Pir Muntaha of Islamic International Hayatpora with second and Sania Sajad of Al-Noor English Medium Public School with third rank.
In Qiraat competition, student from Islamic International School Asrar Ul Haq attained first spot followed by Mir Hussain Hassan of Govt Middle School Rednagh with second and Umar Farooq of Sir Syed Memorial Educational Institute Rednagh remained at third spot.
The participants were felicitated with “Certificate Of Appreciation” from the institute. The other six position holders were also felicitated with “Position Holder Certificates” including a single trophy on behalf of Sir Syed Memorial Educational Institute Rednagh.
Zonal Education Officer Sogam extended his gratitude to the school administration for conducting such impressive programs as such programs boosts the students’ learning process. He, on the eve encouraged all the participants to take part in such activities.
Principal Sir Syed Memorial Educational Institute Rednagh Jamsheed Ahmad unequivocally extended his heartiest gratitude to the Zonal Education Officer Sogam and all participants for making the event successful.
