Handwara: Upper Primary School Chontipora Mawer on Thursday held a function to mark the feat of native girl Tasneem Kabir, for her grand selection in Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services. Awami Ittihad Party (AIP) in general and incumbent Member of Legislative Assembly Sheikh Khursheed Ahmad, in particular, have in the meantime also applauded the young girl for her selection.
Upper Primary School Chontipora marking the feat of local girl held a function in the premises of the institute, wherein the teachers highlighted the achievement of the young girl. The speakers unequivocally hailed the grit and determination of the young girl to clear the prestigious exam, and also extended their heartfelt greetings to the parents, teachers and well-wishers of the selectee.
Meanwhile, continuing its mission to inspire youth to excel in the state’s civil services, the Awami Itehad Party (AIP) Senior Leader and MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed congratulated Civil Service topper hailing from Chontipora, Mawar, Langate, Tasneem Kabir, daughter of Dr. A.B. Kabir Dar, Secretary of ARI and Trainings for her exceptional achievement in securing the 4th rank in the prestigious Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAS) examination.
MLA Langate, Sheikh Khursheed, praised Tasneem’s accomplishment, calling it a moment of pride for her family and her community.
In his statement, MLA Langate expressed that these top achievers serve as role models for youth in remote areas, demonstrating that dedication and hard work can open doors to the mainstream. “The toppers have shown that talented youth from all areas, regardless of obstacles, can reach great heights. Their determination proves that no barrier is insurmountable for those committed to their dreams,” he stated.
Congratulating the other successful candidates, AIP Senior Leader and MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed encouraged the youth to look up to these young officers who have persevered through challenges to realize their aspirations.
Calling the selection of these candidates a form of “real empowerment” for the people, the MLA emphasized the importance of their roles in bringing development to remote areas. “They have a unique opportunity to aid the government in implementing effective development plans and to serve the people in these underserved regions. Their presence will foster better services and deeper connections, allowing them to understand the issues faced by these communities,” he added.
