School Timings Revised Across Kashmir Division, Effective from Nov 1

Srinagar: The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK), has announced revised school timings for all government and recognized private institutions across the Kashmir Division, which will come into effect from November 1, 2025.

As per the order, the schools within Srinagar Municipal limits will now operate from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., while those outside the municipal limits and in other districts of the valley will function from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Directorate has directed all heads of institutions to strictly adhere to the revised schedule and ensure smooth implementation in view of the seasonal change.
