Srinagar: The educational institutions, government as well as the private, across the Kashmir valley formally resumed the activities on Monday after remaining shut for about a 95- days long winter break.
From the morning, the school going children were seen in full joy and happiness donning uniforms as they hurried to reach their respective schools.
Many educational institutions in a bid to create a cheerful aura and ambience were decorated and teachers were seen cordially welcoming the students, many even seen distributing confectionery among the joyous faces.
“We are very much excited as we join our educational activities back after having a winter break to our fill. Meeting and interacting with our classmates, friends gives us much satisfaction, said Zainab Aijaz Dagga, of 4th standard of Kupwara Public School, while talking to Alfaaz- The Words.
Another student, Sadiya Qayoom, expressing her joy said: “We are rejoining for our physical classes after having three months of winter vacation break. I’ll meet my classmates, faculty members and my other colleagues, which I have been desperately waiting for all this time”.
“When my school bus arrived in the morning, it gave me a different feeling,” she said adding “It is good to see that mountains are covered with very much snow and it remains always a best and meaningful experience for any student.”
“During the winter break, I completed my entire syllabus and did some revision as well but having physical classes definitely boosts your confidence and self-esteem,” said a boy adding when students are taking physical classes, it removes their shyness as well.
Meanwhile, the educational institutions throughout the Kashmir valley have resumed their physical classes on Monday after observing a long break of winter vacation.
