Sarwar Mufti, Cousin of Former J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti, Likely To Join GN Azad’s DPAP

Srinagar: Grapevine is rife that Sarwar Mufti, cousin brother of former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, is likely to join Ghulam Nabi Azad led Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP).

It is believed that the exit of Sarwar Mufti from PDP may come as a big jolt given his role in party’s stronghold in Bijbehara.

Notably many senior politicians have over the time deserted Peoples Democratic Party to either join other parties or forming their own parties.
