Returning Officer Lolab Constituency Notifies Date for Submission of Nomination Papers

Kupwara: Returning Officer Lolab assembly segment on Thursday notified the date and venue for the tendering of nomination papers on the respective seat.

“Nomination papers may be delivered by a candidate or by any proposers to the Returning Officer 04-Lolab (SDM Lolab) at SDM Office Lolab or to the Assistant Returning Officer 04-Lolab (Tehsildar Lolab Sogam) at Tehsil Office Lolab Sogam between 11:00 am to 3:00 PM on any day (other than holiday) not later than the 12-09-2024,” reads a notification, as per Alfaaz – The Words.

The nomination papers, the notification reads, may be obtained at the aforesaid place.

“The nomination papers will be taken up for scrutiny at office of Returning Office 04-Lolab (SDM Lolab) on 13th September 2024 (Friday) at 11:00 am.

“Notice of withdrawal of candidature may be delivered by a candidate or by any of his proposers by his decision agent who has been authorised in writing by the candidate to deliver it to either of the officers’ specified at SDM Office Lolab Sogam or at Tehsil Office Lolab Sogam before 3:00 PM or before 17th September 2024, (Tuesday),” reads the notification.

“In the event of the election being contested the poll will be taken on 1st October, 2024 (Tuesday) between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm,” the notification further reads.
