Kupwara: The shopkeepers in Ramhal, Tarathpora and Villgam villages in Kupwara have been asked for prompt removal of encroachments to facilitate movement of vehicular and commuters.
“It has come to the attention of the executive magistrate Vilgam/Ramhal that there are numerous encroachments on the roadside within our jurisdiction. These encroachments pose a significant risk to public safety and obstruct the smooth flow of traffic,” reads a notice by Executive Magistrate First Class Ramhal/Tarathpora.
“Therefore, all shopkeepers operating in the jurisdiction of Tehsil Vilgam and Tehsil Ramahll and Tarathpora are hereby directed to promptly remove any encroachments extending onto the road or sidewalk in front of their establishments.”
“Failure to comply with this directive within the stipulated time frame will result in legal action, including fines and removal of encroachments by the authorities,” reads the notice.
“We urge your cooperation in ensuring the safety and convenience of all citizens. Your prompt action in this matter is greatly appreciated,” the notice further reads.
