Raja Gafoor Appointed Vice Zonal President of JKTF Zone Sogam

Kupwara: The J&K Teachers Forum (JKTF) has appointed Raja Gafoor, a teacher at Government Middle School (GMS) Margi, as the Vice Zonal President of JKTF Zone Sogam.

The nomination was formalized through Order No. JKTFZS/26-3 dated January 6, 2025, issued by the Office of the Zonal President, following the unanimous recommendation of stakeholders and in line with the Forum’s constitution.

Gafoor is recognized for his dedication, sincerity, and commitment to the teaching profession. The Forum expressed full confidence in his leadership, noting that he is expected to serve with integrity and diligence, promoting the welfare and development of educators in Zone Sogam.

The order was issued by Mr. Naseer Ahmad Lone, Zonal President of JKTF Zone Sogam. Copies have been shared with the District President JKTF Kupwara, General Secretary JKTF Kupwara, and Zonal Education Officer Sogam for records.

Teachers and Forum members have welcomed the appointment and congratulated Gafoor on assuming his new responsibilities.
