Pulwama Police Intensify Crackdown on OGWs, Conduct Searches Across District

Pulwama: In a sustained crackdown on terror support structures, Pulwama Police on Friday carried out coordinated search operations across multiple locations in the district, targeting individuals linked with the Jammu & Kashmir Nationals operating from Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.

Acting on credible intelligence, police teams searched the residences of several Over Ground Workers (OGWs) and persons accused under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) who are presently on bail.

The searches were conducted in the presence of family members to ensure transparency and full compliance with legal procedures. Media representatives were also facilitated to cover the operations.

Officials confirmed that the searches concluded peacefully, with no illicit material recovered during the exercise. Pulwama Police reiterated its resolve to continue firm action against all elements and networks supporting terrorism, reaffirming its commitment to preserving peace and public safety in the district.
