Police in Anantnag Seizes Shop Owned By Individual Accused of Involvement in Udhampur Circus Worker’s Killing

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Police have seized a shop, owned by an individual accused of killing a circus worker from Udhampur, in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

The District Police Anantnag, as per local news agency GNS, seized the shop owned by one Umer Amin Thoker accused of his involvement in the killing of Deepak Kumar, a circus worker, from Udhampur.

The shop owner, as per the report, was booked under FIR number 171/2023 under sections 302 IPC, 7/27, 25 A.Act 16, 18,20, 23, 38, 39 UA (P) Act.

Notably, the killing of Deepak Kumar took place on May 29 this year near Janglat Mandi Anantnag.
