Police Commemoration Day Observed in Handwara, Rich Tributes Paid To Fallen Personnel

Handwara: Jammu and Kashmir Police observed Police Commemoration Day today on 21st October, at District Police Lines, Handwara.

Sr Superintendent of Police Handwara Ifrooz Ahmed JKPS, ASP Handwara Zaffar Iqbal-JKPS, ADC Handwara Abdul Aziz Rather SDPO Handwara, DYSP DAR Handwara, other officers of Police District Handwara, CRPF, and families of martyred police personnel participated in the occasion for paying tributes to police and CAPF martyrs.

Rich tributes were paid to those who laid down their lives in the line of duty. A commemoration parade was also held as a mark of respect to the martyred personnel.

While remembering officials from Handwara PD who laid down their lives during the past, SSP Handwara said that the country is indebted to all these martyrs and will always remember their sacrifices for upholding the rule of law and ensuring safety and security of the people.
