Handwara: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday attached properties of four Kashmir militant handlers in north Kashmir’s Handwara.
A Police Spokesperson said that the properties were attached after obtaining orders by Additional Sessions Court Handwara.
The properties measuring nine kanals and eleven marlas, worth crores, belonged to Abdul Majeed Malla, son of Mohammed Ahsan Malla, resident of Supernaghama; Abdul Rashid Mir, son of Ghulam Mohuiddin Mir, resident of Supernaghama; Arshid Ahmad Parray, son of Mohammad Akbar of Mandigam and Sajad Ahmad Bhat, son of Abdul Rashid Bhat of Palpora Kralgund.
The action, the spokesperson said, was taken under sections of 88 CrPc (83 central) in respect of specified militant handlers following their declaration as proclaimed offenders in case FIR No. 73/2011 U/S 2/3 IMCO Act, 121 A RPC of Police station Kralgund.
