Srinagar: Mehbooba Mufti led Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Tuesday designated Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra as Youth President J&K and Advocate Khurshid Iqbal Shah as Additional General Secretary of the party.

Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra, a full time politician from Naira Pulwama, has been actively affiliated with Peoples Democratic Party while Advocate Khurshid Iqbal Shah, a practicing advocate from Drugmulla Kupwara, too has been off late actively involved in politics.

The designation of Parra and Shah is expected to give a new vigor to the party as the duo is thoroughly experienced.

Meanwhile senior PDP leader and Constituency Head Handwara Sofi Irfan has extended his felicitations to the duo for the respective assignments.

Hailing the designation of the duo as a good omen for the party, Sofi said he is hopeful that both Parra and Shah will take the party to new heights and at the same come upto the expectations of the common masses.
