Srinagar: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has formally accepted resignation of former captain of national team as Chief Selector of the men’s team.
Taking to the microblogging site ‘X’, previously Twitter, PCB’s Media wing wrote; “Pakistan Cricket Board has accepted the resignation of former captain Inzamam ul Haq as Chief Selector.”
“Inzamam ul Haq had tendered his resignation as chief of national men’s selection and junior selection committees’ on October 30”, it said.
“Former captain Inzamam ul Haq was appointed as Chief Selector of National Men’s selection committee on August 7, 2023 and was appointed as Chairman of Junior Men’s Selection Committee at the start of last month”, it read further.
