Rawalpindi: Pakistan won the third Test against England in Rawalpindi by chasing down 36 runs in just 3.1 overs on Saturday, October 26.
After wrapping up England’s second innings for 112 in the first session of the Day 3, Pakistan raced to the target in just 19 deliveries to register an emphatic nine-wicket win.
Pakistan captain Shan Masood scored 23 unbeaten runs off just six balls, and finished off the match with a six over long-off. Noman finished with 6-42 and Sajid 4-69. The 2-1 win is also Pakistan’s first home Test win since February 2021.
England had won the first Test by an innings and 47 runs while Pakistan took the second by 152 runs, both matches played in Multan.
