No delay acceptable in file disposal, time bound clearances top priority: DSEK

Srinagar: Director School Education Kashmir Naseer Ahmad Wani on Monday chaired a review meeting of all Chief Education Officers of the Kashmir division to assess the functioning and progress of the School Education Department.

The meeting was held at the Directorate of School Education Kashmir and focused on key administrative and academic issues. These included matters related to teaching and non teaching staff, training programmes, inspection and monitoring systems, financial management, planning, and overall departmental performance.

Emphasising administrative efficiency, the Director said timely disposal of files and cases was his top priority. He made it clear that no file would be allowed to remain pending due to avoidable or unjustified reasons and directed officers to ensure prompt decision making at all levels.

The Director also reviewed the status of audits, expenditure patterns, Apex budget, REVEX budget, and other financial matters. He instructed officers to ensure proper utilisation of funds and timely execution of approved works in accordance with prescribed financial rules and guidelines.

The meeting was attended by Joint Directors Syed Shabir Ahmad, Kishore Kumar and Muhammed Mushtaq, Personnel Officer Dr Iqbal Hussain Mir, Chief Accounts Officer Zahoor Ahmad Khanday, all Chief Education Officers of the Kashmir division, and other senior departmental officers.
