Srinagar: A webinar was organised by National Institute of Disaster Management Govt of India and Indian Buildings Congress (J&K Chapter) on World Heritage Day. The Webinar was widely attended by participants from all over the Country.
The two main experts on the occasion were Dr Hakim Sameer Hamdani, Design Director INTACH and Dr Rohit Jigyasu, Programme Manager, International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), Rome, Italy.
The Course Coordinators were Er Aamir Ali Chairman IBC (J&K Chapter) and Dr Amir Khan, Faculty NIDM. The program was moderated by Avipsha Mohanty.
Prominent participants included Executive Director Indian Buildings Congress Dr Inderjeet Singh Sidhu, Honorary Secretary IBC VR Bansal, Vice Chairman IBC J&K Er Rabinder Shekher, Secy IBC J&K Irfan Shafi Parray, Principal SSM College of Engineering Parihaspora and their staff and students.
The Principal Government Polytechnic College Baramulla had made special arrangements for the students to attend the Webinar at the meeting hall of the College. Besides, many engineers and students from various states also attended the Webinar.
The participants appreciated the detailed presentations made by Dr Hakim Sameer Hamdani and Dr Rohit Jigyasu.
The participants actively participated in the question and answer sessions.
