Nasir Nazir Lone, DDC Sogam, Inaugurates Pulse Polio Programme at Local SDH

Sogam: Nasir Lone, District Development Council (DDC) member from Sogam, Sunday formally inaugurated the Pulse Polio Immunization Programme for the Medical Block Sogam at the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sogam.

Addressing parents and caregivers, Nasir Lone made a heartfelt appeal, urging everyone to ensure that no child misses their polio drops. He stressed that vaccination is a vital step in protecting children from lifelong disability and building a healthier, polio-free generation.

Health officials including BMO Sogam Dr. Syed Javed Rasool, and staff at SDH Sogam were present during the launch, coordinating the administration of polio drops to eligible children in the block.

Pertinent to mention here that the initiative, currently going on across Jammu and Kashmir, aims to strengthen efforts to protect children against polio and promote a polio-free future in the region.
