Naib Tehsildar Lalpora Conducts Extensive Market Inspection

Lolab (Kupwara): In an effort to keep a check on blackmarketing and to ensure adherence to fair practices, a team led by Naib Tehsildar Lalpora on Thursday conducted a thorough market inspection in Lalpora.

The inspection team included officials from Food Department and Jammu and Kashmir Police.

The joint team inspected markets in and around Lalpora, to ensure the shopkeepers and dealers adhere to rules and regulations, and to provide consumers with fair prices and quality goods.

The inspecting team penalised the violators and also destroyed on the spot expired essentials.

The shopkeepers and dealers were impressed upon to keep with the laid down rules and regulations, contrary to which action as warranted under law may be initiated.
