Mushtaq Ahmad Beigh – Unsung Hero PDL of PDD from Kralgund Kupwara

Handwara: Mushtaq Ahmad Beigh, a PDL worker working in PDD, hailing from the Kralgund Qaziabad of Kupwara district for fifteen years is someone known for performing his duty honestly in Kralgund, Beighpora, Nahama, Bicherwara and Supernaghama areas of Kupwara district.

Mushtaq, as usual, showed exemplary work on Saturday, when Kumar Mohalla falling in his jurisdiction was cut from the electricity after the transformer developed a snag due to snowfall.

Talking to this correspondent, Mushtaq said that besides performing his duty, he has made a greater contribution in the society from the day he was engaged in the department. “My purpose is to not let the consumers suffer, especially during the winter season”, Mushtaq said.

“As the winter starts, it brings immense misery to the people and consumers who need power supply. In such circumstances when the electricity snaps due to any reason, I take it as an obligation to restore the supply at an earliest.”

Meanwhile, the dedicated PDL has urged Lieutenant Governor led administration to regularise the services of those daily wagers who like him are working very hard day in and day out in the field.

He further appealed to the electricity consumers to make judicious use of power supply and refrain from the hooking, illegal and excessive loads.
