JKP Holds Wreath Laying Ceremony At DPL Srinagar

Srinagar: The mortal remains of Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani has reached his home in Srinagar from New Delhi on Friday, a day after he succumbed to his injuries at AIIMS hospital in the national capital.
As learnt by Alfaaz-The Words, the remains of Wani reached Srinagar at around 11 AM.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police subsequently held a wreath laying ceremony in honour of the fallen colleague at District Police Lines Srinagar. The ceremony was attended by many top officers of the J&K Police.
The body of the cop, as per latest reports has reached his residence at Yechpora Eidgah amid tight security arrangements in and around the area.
Pertinent to mention here that Wani was critically injured after militants fired at him in the Eidgah area of Srinagar in the last week of October this year while he playing cricket with local boys.
