MLA Qaysar Jamsheed Lone Reviews Power Scenario in Lolab; KPDCL Assures Adequate Winter Preparedness

Srinagar: In view of the approaching winter season, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Lolab, Qaysar Jamsheed Lone, held a meeting with the Managing Director of Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) to review the power scenario in the constituency.

During the meeting, the MLA highlighted the need for ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply to the people of Lolab, stressing that the region faces particular challenges during harsh winter months.

The Managing Director, KPDCL, assured the legislator that the department has made adequate arrangements to tackle potential power disruptions. He informed that a sufficient buffer stock of transformers and other essential equipment has been kept reserved to meet contingencies and ensure smooth power supply across the constituency during the winter season.

The MLA expressed satisfaction over the assurance and urged the authorities to ensure timely response to power-related issues as temperatures continue to drop in the Valley.
