MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed Calls on MD JJM, Timely Completion of JJM Projects in Langate Constituency Sought

Srinagar: MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed Ahmad on Thursday called on Managing Director Jal Jeevan Mission Dr G N Itoo at civil Secretariat here.

Sheikh Khursheed on the occasion highlighted shortage of drinking water in several places, including Qalamabad, Qaziabad, Kandi area, Magam and Pohru Chakla in the Langate constituency.

During the meeting, MLA Langate also sought from MD JJM intervention completion of pending projects and proper execution in various areas of the constituency in the larger interest of the public.

Before meeting MD JJM, Sheikh Khursheed visited various places of Langate constituency where he interacted with the local population to obtain first-hand information about their grievances vis-a-vis potable water supply.

Sheikh Khursheed discussed the status of ongoing JJM projects with the officials concerned and also directed timely execution of all projects across the Langate constituency.

In order to do away with the issue of shortage of drinking water ahead of winters, Sheikh Khursheed discussed the launch of various new projects.
