Srinagar: MLA Langate and Awami Ittihad Party senior leader Sheikh Khursheed Ahmad, alongside party senior leader Adv Dawood Bashir Bhat, visited Sogam and Kalaroos, to express sympathies with the families of Handwara accident victims.
Accompanied by party workers and activists, the party leaders interacted with the bereaved families of Aasiya Rashid at Kalaroos, and Mymoona Ali at Sogam. The visiting party leaders extended their heartfelt sympathies with the two bereaved families, and said that they stand in solidarity with them in this hour of grief and sorrow.
Praying for peace to the two departed souls, the visiting delegation also sought from Almighty Allah to grant forbearance to the bereaved families.
The party delegation later on visited families of students who sustained injuries in the tragic accident.
While praying for swift recovery of the injured students, MLA Langate assured the families that he is personally monitoring to ensure that best of the treatments’ is being given to all of them.
Sheikh Khursheed Ahmad also visited to extend condolences to party senior leader Adv. Dawood Bashir Bhat on the demise of his paternal aunt – who passed away recently.
