Minor Boy Injured in Leopard Attack in Chowkibal Kupwara

Kupwara: A 5-year-old boy sustained injuries after being attacked by a leopard in Chowkibal area in Kupwara.

Reports reaching Alfaaz – The Words, said that a minor boy was outside his home when a leopard appeared and attacked him in Marsari.

Upon hearing the cries of the child, the family and locals chased away the beast, however not before the boy suffered injuries in the attack.

The boy was subsequently evacuated to SDH Kralpora Kupwara for treatment, where his condition is said to be largely stable.

Meanwhile, the locals of the area have appealed to the authorities to take immediate action and neutralise the beast at an earliest.
