Srinagar: In a significant development, Jammu and Kashmir nominated candidate for Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary segment Mian Altaf Ahmad Larvi may pull out of Lok Sabha elections.
As learnt by Alfaaz-The Words, the popular Gujjar community leader Mian has been advised to take rest for few weeks by the doctors, which may eventually send him out of the contest.
However as of now there has been no decision by the party in the matter even as the filing of nomination papers’ for the seat approach thick and fast.
People in the knowhow of things in the meantime claim that Mian Altaf is doing well and is instead seeking some assurances from the party leadership if at all the Assembly elections are being conducted in the near future.
As learnt from reliable sources, JKNC’s Pir Panjal Zone President, former Deputy Chairman J&K Legislative Council and three times MLA Javid Rana may get nomination if Mian Altaf withdraws from the race.
