Mewar University Revokes Suspension Order of 35 Kashmiri Students

Srinagar: Mewar University Chittorgarh Rajasthan, has on Tuesday announced revocation of suspension of Kashmiri students on persuasion of government administration.

“Taking into consideration of the request of the Kashmiri students studying in Mewar University and on the advice of the Government Administration, University Administration hereby immediately revokes the suspension order,” reads a varsity order, a copy of which lies with Alfaaz – The Words.

“University Administration is in discussion with the students to amicably resolve the issue of B.Sc. Nursing,” further reads the order.

Notably, at least 35 Kashmiri students at Mewar University in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan were suspended after they staged protests against the university over an ‘unapproved nursing course’.
