Srinagar: School Education Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, on Friday effected transfers and postings of twenty-two academicians in the interest of the administration, more so in its pursuit to do away with the prevailing exigencies in (education) sector.
While the Principal Mehraj-ud-Din Shah (Peerzada) has been placed as Chief Education Officer Kupwara from his present posting as Principal Boys Higher Secondary School Kupwara, the SED in its order has promoted Iftikhar Ali Shah as CEO Poonch from his present posting at GHSS Surankote (Poonch), as per an order, a copy of which lies with Alfaaz – The Words.
Rifat Irfan Qadri has been promoted as Principal DIET Srinagar from his present posting at GHSS Nowhatta Srinagar.
Manzoor Ahmad Bhat has been promoted as Principal DIET Kupwara from his present posting at HQ Handwara.
Ashok K. Raina has been promoted as Principal DIET Baramulla from Deputy CEO Jammu.
Bashir Ahmad Ganai has been promoted as Associate Professor JKSCERT Kashmir from his present posting at HSS Hardhshoora.
Ab. Rashid Mir has been promoted as Principal DIET Bandipora from his present posting at BHSS Kalaroos.
Bashir Ahmad Malla has been promoted as CEO Shopian (to join on 01.03.2025) from his present posting at BHSS Baramulla.
Bashir Ahmad Shah has been promoted as CEO Anantnag from his present posting at BHSS Sogam Kupwara.
Swaran Singh Jaral has been promoted as Principal DIET Kathua from his present posting at SCERT Jammu.
Vijay Chanyal has been promoted as Joint Secretary JK BOSE from his present posting at HSS Sumb Samba.
Vidyotama Gupta has been placed as Associate Professor JKSCERT from his present posting at HSS Bhalwal Jammu.
Somesh Kumar has been promoted as Principal DIET Kishtwar from his present posting at HSS Hiranagar Kathua.

Oneel Kumar Bhat has been promoted as CEO Ganderbal, with additional charge as Principal DIET Ganderbal, while he had been awaiting orders of adjustment in DSE.
