Kupwara: Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), District Centre Kupwara, successfully concluded the Management Development Programme (MDP) Batch VI under the RAMP scheme at the District Entrepreneurship and Career Centre (DECC), Kupwara on Monday.
The programme witnessed participation from 22 candidates, including 18 females and 4 males, reflecting strong women representation and growing interest in entrepreneurship among local youth.
MDP Batch-VI was structured to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of key business and management concepts, including entrepreneurship development, business planning, financial management, marketing strategies, government schemes for entrepreneurs, and essential soft skills required to run sustainable enterprises.
Sessions were delivered through interactive lectures, discussions, case studies, and activity-based learning to ensure practical exposure and hands-on experience.
On the concluding day, senior officials from JKEDI visited the venue, interacted with participants, and reviewed the training framework, appreciating the overall conduct and outcomes of the programme. They encouraged trainees to transform their ideas into viable enterprises and actively utilise the benefits of various entrepreneurship promotion schemes offered by the government.
During the interaction session, District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Kupwara, highlighted the instituteโs role in nurturing entrepreneurship at the grassroots level and assured continued guidance, mentoring, and handholding support to the participants in their entrepreneurial journey.
Participants expressed satisfaction with the quality of training and thanked JKEDI for providing a platform to enhance their managerial and entrepreneurial skills.
