Man Hospitalised With Injuries After Fired Upon By Unknown Gunman in North Kashmir

Srinagar: A 45-year-old man sustained injuries after being fired upon by unknown gunman at his residence in Kandi Khass area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday evening.

News agency JKNS quoted a top police officer as saying that the injured has been identified as Ghulam Rasool Magray resident of Kandi Khass. Following the incident, he was immediately shifted to GMC Handwara for medical treatment.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the firing.
