Handwara: Government Upper Primary School Chontipora Mawer on Tuesday celebrated Mothers’ Day with great enthusiasm and joy. The school organized a special event with the theme “Magical MOMents,” dedicated to honor and appreciate the incredible mothers of students from Nursery to 8th.
The young ones took the stage to showcase their talents and expressed their gratitude towards their mothers. The Vandana performance was a heartwarming tribute to all the mothers present in the hall. The song and dance performances were nothing short of spectacular. The little stars lit up the stage with their energy, enthusiasm and synchronized moves.
Mothers from various classes actively participated in a wide range of activities that brought out their creativity and showcased their talents. The event featured a ramp walk, where mothers confidently strutted their stuff, exuding grace and style. Additionally, they engaged in Garland Jewellery making, paper craft, vase decoration, and salad making, allowing them to showcase their artistic abilities and culinary skills.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter and excitement as mothers and their children enjoyed various fun-filled games. It was truly a day to cherish and create lasting memories.
The event was graced by esteemed guests who added to the grandeur of the occasion. ZEO Mawer Qalamabad Abdul Ahad Lone, Cluster Head Qalamabad Syed Kifayat Ahmad Shah, Head Clerk ZEO office Qalamabad Mohammad Ishaq Mir, Khurshid Ahmad Reshi were among the special guests, adding prestige and honor to the event.
The school’s head master Nazir Ahmad Bhat and staff members were also present to support and encourage the participants throughout the event.
UPS Chontipora Mawer believes in the importance of celebrating and acknowledging the incredible role that mothers play in the lives of their children. The Mothers’ Day celebration provided a platform for mothers to showcase their talents, bond with their children, and create beautiful memories together.
