Kupwara: As the date for polling on Baramulla Lok Sabha seat approaches fast, incarcerated Er. Rashid led Awami Itehad Party (AIP) on Friday organised a rally in Lolab which saw a mass public presence from far and wide, much to the zeal and enthusiasm of the party.
The rally was attended by AIP Patron’s son Abrar Rashid, DPAP leader & Ex MLA Sangrama Shoaib Nabi Lone, AIP Spokesperson Firdous Baba, BDC Langate Showkat Ahmad Pandith, DDC Mawer Khursheed Ahmad Dar, BDC Member Tahir Ahmad and Social activists including Aadil Nazir, Dr. Bari Naik, Angad Singh Khalsa and others.
The speakers on the occasion delivered ruptorous speeches at the jam-packed venue.
The people attending the rally extended their unconditional love and support to the AIP delegation and pledged that they will vote en-masse on ‘Pressure Cooker’ symbol in the polling to ensure party’s win on Baramulla Lok Sabha seat.
The speakers on the occasion thanked the people for their support and assured that all the grievances would be redressed once the party obtains the mandate.
Notably, AIP candidate Er. Rashid continues to remain incarcerated while his nomination has gone through, alongside 22 others, for the Baramulla Lok Sabha seat scheduled to undergo for polls on 20 May, 2024.
