Kupwara: In a poignant and defiant display of unity, residents of Teetwal, a village near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district, organized a candlelight march on Wednesday late evening to condemn the brutal killing of retired army man Manzoor Ahmad Wagay in Kulgam, South Kashmir.

The attack, which also left Wagay’s wife and niece critically injured, has sparked widespread outrage, with locals directly warning Pakistan to stop exporting terrorism to the region.

The march saw a large gathering of locals, including men, women, and youth, who lit candles and raised slogans demanding justice for the victim. Participants also sent a strong message to Pakistan, accusing it of exporting terrorism to Kashmir and urging it to halt its support for militant activities.

“We condemn this cowardly act of violence. Innocent lives are being lost because of terrorism, and Pakistan must stop exporting terrorists to our land. We will not tolerate the killing of our people,” said a local resident during the march. (via. Peerzada Zubair)
