LG Sinha Summons J&K Legislative Assembly to Meet in Jammu on Feb 2

Jammu: Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha on Saturday summoned the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly to meet in Jammu on February 2, 2026.

According to a communique issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat, the Assembly has been summoned under Section 18(1) of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019.

The summon has been addressed to all Members of the Legislative Assembly, requesting them to attend the session at the appointed date, time and venue, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business of the House.
