LG Admin Orders Immediate Relief Measures To Rain-affected Households Across J&K, Expresses Anguish Over Loss of Lives

Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday expressed his grief over the loss of lives in a landslide triggered by incessant rain in the Chassana area of Reasi district.

Sinha, in a statement issued here, said, “I am deeply anguished by the loss of lives in the tragic incident in Chassana, Reasi. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members who have lost their loved ones. I have directed the District Administration to provide all necessary assistance.”

Sinha also issued instructions to provide immediate relief to the families affected by heavy rains across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
