Leopard Attacks Minor Boy, Leaves Him With Critical Injuries in Kupwara’s Chowkibal

Kupwara: A 7-year-old boy sustained critical injuries after being attacked by a leopard in Zunreshi area of Chowkibal in Kupwara district.

According to reports reaching Alfaaz – The Words, one Manan Sadiq Lone, son of Mohammad Sadiq Lone, was attacked while he was outside his home.

The minor sustained grievous injuries in the incident, and was soon after rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Sensing exigency, the doctors referred the child to DH Handwara, where he is undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, locals of the area have expressed their deep concern over the attack, and urged the authorities to take measures as to avoid incidents of such type in future.
