Kupwara Police Seize Over 2 kg Narcotics During Surprise Naka at Kuligam Chowk

Kupwara: Kupwara Police on Tuesday seized 2.018 kg of a charas-like substance during a surprise naka checking operation conducted at Kuligam Chowk under the jurisdiction of Police Station Lalpora.

During the checkpoint, police personnel intercepted an individual and recovered the contraband from his possession. The accused has been identified as Mohd. Aslam Konshi, son of Haider Ali Konshi, a resident of Kuligam Naad.

Police have registered a case in this regard, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the source and possible links of the recovered narcotics.
