Srinagar: At least seven persons were injured after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Chowkibal area in Kupwara district.
As learnt by Alfaaz – The Words, a Scorpio which was on way from Karnah to Kupwara collided with a Tempo Traveller, at TP Chowkibal, leaving seven persons injured.
The injured persons have been identified as; Amanat Ali (7) son of Yasir Ali; Sameena Begum (35) wife of Yasir Ahmad; Mubashir Aabid (36) son of Aabid Qureshi; Zahid Ali Khan (14) son of Gh Hassan Khan; Jahanzaib Zahid (16) son of Zahid Ahmad; Zehran Yasir (9) son of Yasir and Huzaif Ali (12) son of Zahid Ali – all residents of Kandi Karnah.
The injured persons have been evacuated to SDH Kupwara, where all of them are said to be responding well to the treatment.
